SBIR Phase I Grant
Mycologics has been awarded a $175,000 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to develop a novel biofungicide to combat Rhizoctonia Crown and Root Rot (RCRA) in sugar beets.
NSF Innovation Corps (I-CorpsTM) Program

The I-CorpsTM program equips participants with entrepreneurial skills, business model development strategies, and market validation techniques, preparing them for success in the startup ecosystem.
F3 Tech Accelerator Program
Mycologics was selected to participate in the F3 Tech Accelerator Program in 2022. This program, supported by the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center and the U.S. Economic Development Administration, is designed to help early and late-stage companies in agriculture, aquaculture, and biotech accelerate their commercialization efforts. SBIR Phase I Grant
Mycologics has been awarded a $256,000 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) to conduct research and development on a novel biofungicide platform aimed at protecting food and feed crops from fungal contamination and spoilage.
NC IDEA MICRO Grant
In 2021, Mycologics was awarded an NC IDEA MICRO grant, which provided $10,000 in non-dilutive funding to support the development of their innovative biofungicide solutions. This grant, part of a highly competitive process, was designed to help young startups in North Carolina advance their ideas and validate early-stage projects. NC IDEA's MICRO program focuses on fostering entrepreneurial growth, and Mycologics was selected as one of the 22 companies to receive the grant during that cycle
CED Life Science GRO Accelerator
Mycologics was selected in the Spring 2022 cohort for the CED Life Science CRO Accelerator, which is a 12-week program aimed at supporting high-growth life sciences companies.
