Mycologics has been selected as one of eight companies for AgLaunch's two-year accelerator program. The program will provide on-farm trials, agricultural data access, business development coaching, and staged commercialization support through 2026.

SBIR Phase I Grant

Mycologics has been awarded a $175,000 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to develop a novel biofungicide to combat Rhizoctonia Crown and Root Rot (RCRA) in sugar beets.

NSF Innovation Corps (I-CorpsTM) Program

F3 Tech Accelerator Program

Mycologics was selected to participate in the F3 Tech Accelerator Program in 2022. This program, supported by the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center and the U.S. Economic Development Administration, is designed to help early and late-stage companies in agriculture, aquaculture, and biotech accelerate their commercialization efforts. Mycologics' selection highlights the company's innovative work in developing sustainable solutions to combat fungal pathogens in crops, aligning with F3 Tech's focus on advancing technology to meet industry needs. The program provided Mycologics with business advisory support and the opportunity to secure non-dilutive capital, which played a crucial role in advancing the development of their biofungicide technology. This participation also helped Mycologics collaborate with industry experts and potential investors to expedite their go-to-market strategy.

SBIR Phase I Grant

Mycologics has been awarded a $256,000 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) to conduct research and development on a novel biofungicide platform aimed at protecting food and feed crops from fungal contamination and spoilage.

NC IDEA MICRO Grant

In 2021, Mycologics was awarded an NC IDEA MICRO grant, which provided $10,000 in non-dilutive funding to support the development of their innovative biofungicide solutions. This grant, part of a highly competitive process, was designed to help young startups in North Carolina advance their ideas and validate early-stage projects. NC IDEA's MICRO program focuses on fostering entrepreneurial growth, and Mycologics was selected as one of the 22 companies to receive the grant during that cycle

CED Life Science GRO Accelerator

Mycologics was selected in the Spring 2022 cohort for the CED Life Science CRO Accelerator, which is a 12-week program aimed at supporting high-growth life sciences companies. The accelerator focuses on helping startups refine their business models, secure funding, and prepare for commercialization through personalized coaching and expert- led sessions. As a member of this cohort, Mycologics gained valuable resources and exposure to the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem, culminating in a Demo Day, where participants pitched their ventures to potential partners and investors. This accelerator experience positioned Mycologics as a high-potential innovator in sustainable agriculture solutions.

NC First Flight Venture Center's LiftOff Program

Selected for NC First Flight Venture Center's LiftOff Programs In 2021, Mycologics was chosen as one of the five NC companies to participate in the LiftOff program of the First Flight Venture Center. This program supports high-potential science-based startups by providing strategic assistance in securing non-dilutive funding through comgætitive federal grants. Through LiftOff, Mycologics has benefited from tailored resources and expert guidance, positioning us for success in obtaining funding and advancing the development of our natural biofungicide solutions.
